Fees & Sessions

Ongoing 50-minute sessions are between £70-£100 per session depending on your circumstances. During the consultation process we can set a rate that we both feel comfortable with.

I offer a limited amount of reduced rate vacancies, between £55-£65, dependent on availability and personal circumstances.

The best way to start therapy is in-person, so I would recommend that the initial consultation is face-to-face. In this first meeting we will be able to discuss what brings you to therapy and I can learn more about your family history as well as your current relationships and support networks. I will also give you more information about psychodynamic psychotherapy. We can then decide how the therapy will progress. If we both think it would be a good idea to continue to the treatment, we can decide whether the sessions will work best for you, in-person or online.

During the consultation we can also talk about whether a short-term treatment, something more open ended, or a different form of therapy will work best in your situation. For some, psychodynamic therapy may not be appropriate, and I will help you to think about what could be more effective for you. If psychotherapy will be helpful, you may have something specific that will benefit from a short-term treatment, and this is a decision we can make together. Long-standing difficulties are likely to need a more deep and open-ended approach.
